  • Notes
    • Daughter of Richard Hunt & Margaret, bapt in Kintbury 17 Dec 1746. Married firstly William Hidden (W070) at Enborne, Berks 31 May 1779, secondly William Criswick 30 Dec 1799 at Highclere, Hants after the death in 1797 of her first husband. She may have had a child Elizabeth by William in 1786, when she would be 40 years old, but the entry gives the mother's name as Elizabeth. This is probably be an error, as there is no other William Hidden in the parish. Her mother Margaret was buried in Kintbury in 1760 and her father Richard was buried there in 1771, so she was an orphan when she married William Hidden in 1779. Her sister Frances and brother Thomas died in infancy, so her nearest relatives were her sisters Elizabeth, Sarah & Mary
    • There is another Letticia Hunt bapt in Breaston, Derbyshire 3 Jun 1746 d/o John & Anne Hunt. Confusingly she married in Breaston 14 Apr 1768 to someone whom the IGI calls William Hidden or William Widdison, and who is probably a William Eden who was born in Breaston
