    • in will 1840. died between 1869 when son was born and 1881 census. In 1881 the family were living in Sulhamstead Bannister in the Registration Dist. of Bradfield. This must be where Jane died.

      Will of William Heading of Hampstead Norris. Dated 10 July 1840. Probate 1840.
      He mentions as his children his son Thomas & his daughters Jane & Elizabeth. He leaves to Jane "daughter of my first wife my best tent bedstead and the bed and furniture belonging thereto and also my best chest of drawers and also the boxes and clothes of my late wife Jane Heading to and for her own absolute benefit". Also he bequeather to her "all my silver spoons". To his son Thomas "my best silver hunting watch with the chain and appendages thereto belonging for his own benefit". To his wife Charlotte "my other silver watch". to all 3 of his children and his wife Charlotte his freehold property at Stratton St Margaret, Wilts for them to share as joint tenants.
